Mar is invite-only — no public sign-up yet. This is what happens with your data if you have an account. This page itself sets no cookies and runs no trackers.
Account. You sign in with "Sign in with Apple." We only get an identifier, never your password.
Chats, tasks, notes. Stored so Mar can keep context and remember what matters to you.
Email. Connecting Gmail uses Google's own sign-in. Mar only reads or acts on your email to do what you asked — never sold, never used for ads or training. Disconnect anytime.
AI processing. Your request is handled by our own local model, or — depending on setup — sent to a hosted provider like OpenAI or Mistral. Either way, it's used only to answer you.
Notifications. If enabled, an encrypted device token is stored so Apple can deliver alerts.
Storage. Everything lives on a server we run ourselves, encrypted where it's sensitive.
